eBay AIRFLO EURO NYMPH SHORTY 22′ FOOT HI VIS TIP .55MM IN DARK OLIVE AND FL. ORANGE Just like our Euro Nymph fly lines the Euro Short is super thin at just 0.55mm but this time just 22ft long. Featuring a very supple coating with incredibly low stretch, the Euro Short gives great strike detection and performance on the water. This unique line offers a quick and simple way to convert your conventional fly fishing set up to a Euro Nymph setup in seconds and the hi-vis orange tip ensures you see even the smallest of eats every bit as much as feel them. An oversized welded loop on the back end enables you to quickly switch out your current dry fly or bobber rig, meaning you can travel light with just one set up to cover all. For nearly 70 years, the majority of fly lines have been made from PVC — a naturally rigid plastic that requires the use of plasticizers to make PVC lines functional. Unfortunately, these plasticizers are anything but a permanent part of a PVC fly line. You see, from the minute it’s made, a PVC line begins breaking down — leaching plasticizers into the environment and contaminating you and the waters you fish. Once it has shed enough of these chemicals, it becomes prone to cracking, and sometimes, even failure. As if all that’s not enough, as it decomposes, PVC is known to release Dioxins — a group of lethal, bio-accumulating toxins. Consequently, it’s virtually impossible to safely dispose of a PVC line. All of which is why Airflo has never used PVC to produce our lines. Since 1984, our lines have been made from Polyurethane — an inert, stable, recyclable material that requires no plasticizers, performs better and lasts far longer than PVC lines.
